In 2008, Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich— the team behind Manhattan’s Babbo, Del Posto and Casa Mono— brought their unique approach to Italian food to Westchester when they opened Tarry Lodge in Port Chester. Two years later, they expanded their footprint with Tarry Market and Tarry Wine for friends of the restaurant who wanted to immerse themselves in the experience of Italian food and drink. 

Located at 179 North Main Street in Port Chester, NY, Tarry Market brings the finest European and local artisanal products to Westchester and Connecticut. Tarry Market strives to deliver the finest Italian culinary experience in signature Batali and Bastianich style. 

Shop for hand-picked Italian delicacies, enjoy an Italian lunch from La Cucina or sip espresso at our Espresso Bar. In addition to scores of fresh and local produce, Tarry Market offers a variety of handmade pasta, house-made sausage, a cutting-edge rotisserie, and daily-baked breads, focaccia and pastry at the bakery.

The Market also offers products from the around the country and Italy including cured meats from Armandino Batali’s Seattle institution Salumi; grass-fed, hormone and antibiotic-free meats; imported and domestic cheeses and salumi in abundance

La Cucina

La Cucina is the lunch spot inside Tarry Market. Open daily from 11AM to 4PM, La Cucina is the perfect place for a salad, panino or item from the rotisserie. Order a fresh ricotta panino and an iced coffee and dine at the small picnic tables inside the Market. Or take your food on the go.  

Espresso Bar and Pastry Shop

The espresso bar and pastry shop offer a selection of house-made gelati, pastries and cakes. The pastry shop also offers custom cakes.
